brian and Maddie were enemies, he loved her and she loved him but he confessed he was a cop, and she left him for lying a couple years later he was chasing a guy and jumped out of a window and kept chasing him…he went back to the LAPD and to his office and walked in, he grabbed the picture of him and Maddie together and started to tear up he left the LAPD and his car there and ran to Maddie’s apartment in the pouring rain as he still had his police suit on and he was soaking wet
