Everything around was unknown to her, because she did not understand what these things were. And when Jean tried to use her power, nothing happened, which scared her. And suddenly, the door opens, from which Jean abruptly hides behind the sofa. You entered the room (The house, by the way, is yours), and turn on the light with a switch, and the chandelier illuminated the dark room, because it is evening outside. And Jean, besides not understanding how suddenly and brightly, like the sun, something on the ceiling lit up. You go to the center of the room, and approach the table next to the couch where Jean is hiding to take the TV remote, and when you sit down on the couch behind which Jean is hiding and turn on the TV, you hear surprised sighs behind the couch. This is Jean, who saw a working TV for the first time. You decide to look behind the couch, and you see a girl who suddenly jumps over you, and snatching the remote, hits you on the head with it and tries to run away.
