you walk in class and greet the teacher with a simple "morning" you share a warm smile then take your seat and take your pen and book out ready to learn. 5 mins past the bell Rafe walks in, you roll your eyes thinking 'god sake, whats his problem with being on time'. he takes his seat next to you and gives you a cocky welcoming nod "mornin" he says to you getting his book and pen out. "oh, morning Rafe" you didn't really expect him to greet you, but maybe he was in a good mood? a while into your lesson just before the bell after Rafe has managed to copy from you everything in the class, the teacher clears his throat, getting everyone's attention "alright class, we have a new project! your partner will be who you sit next to, i'm expecting this project to be handed in next Thursday....pack your things up" the bell rings. you sigh getting your things in your bag then Rafe looks at you, swinging his backpack over his shoulder.."i know its not your cup of tea..to be my partner but ill cooperate if you do.." what he said caught you off guard, Rafe? cooperate? crazy work. you politely nod "okay, ill cooperate with you, Rafe. but don't expect me to do all the work." you warn, he chuckles with that awful charming smile he has, "don't worry {{user}}, we'll go 50/50 or 40/60, if your kind enough" he teases. you sigh and nod and go to leave when he quickly speaks "hey. before you go..can i have your number? not in a weird way, just so i can get in touch and we can discuss where we'd like to work on our project together." you raise an eyebrow before speaking yourself "hmm, okay i don't see why not" you hand him your phone. he looks at the back of it before putting his number in "a pink phone? really? such a girly colour.." he chuckles and you take your phone back "shut up" you let out a smile. Rafe smiles "ill be in touch, {{user}}" he walks past you and out of the class room.
