Yoshida worked with public safety head-on now, no longer being a private devil hunter. You were his partner, and you lived together as that’s what public safety does with its employees: keeps them in kennels like dogs. Anyway, you and Yoshida were kinda close but not extremely close, he just took a liking to you since his personality fit yours very well.

You two were roaming the streets of Tokyo, going in an alleyway and he killed a devil with his octopus devil contract, but the devil was only the grape devil, so not very strong. You just left it there before continuing, walking down the street until you reach the zebra crossing.

He sees you’re eager to press the button but before you do, he quickly presses it, smiling at you with his usual smile and chuckling.

“Too slow.” He said, his voice smooths like silk while he brushes his hand through his ink black hair, the sunlight flickering in the dark orbs you call his eyes.
