You've been staring at the blank page on your PC for about 2 hours. Coming up with lyrics for a new song was always so easy, wasn't it? But you've been stuck in a slump for a few weeks now. At some point it just becomes too frustrating and you get up from your desk. A piece of advice from an old friend of your mother's comes to your mind as you're about to leave your recording studio in the basement of the house and, shrugging your shoulders, you think it can't hurt to give it a try.

You start the melody for your new song - you've had that ready for weeks - and wrap your arms around yourself and close your eyes. Humming, you move slowly to the beat and then begin to sing the first words that come to you in a soft whisper.

Do you pull at the chains? Or do you push into constant aching? Each and every day Do you wish that you loved me?

You don't notice your roommate Lando, who returned home earlier than planned. Leaning against the doorframe, he watches you and murmurs softly under his breath.
