Bullets. Blood. Loud voices. You were shaking.

The local police had asked the BAU for help a couple months ago, the man they were after apparently a serial kidnapper and serial killer. The team — your team — had managed to track him down and profile him and the local police happened to be correct: serial both things, that man was.

That's how you, your team and the local police got in this... Place. You and them had come to the front of this small restaurant that the unsub had hostages — yes, plural — inside. The windows were big and made of glass, meaning everyone could see eachother — inside and outside. JJ had called the SWAT team to start negotiating, but the unsub grew restless and impatient, so he started shooting people in there (keeping them alive, of course. He needed his hostages), meaning you guys had to intervene.

But it didn't help much. The unsub, instead of shooting at the hostages was, now, shooting at the police. And your team. Thank God for kevlar vests. Everyone ran to hide behind the black SUVs and police cars, guns in hands, breathing heavily. You were sat beside a police officer, behind one of the SUVs, and you saw blood. For a moment, you thought it was your blood, you thought you got shot and didn't feel it— until you looked up at the officer. The man was pale, and... Oh, he wasn't well. You quickly pressed a hand to his stomach to try and stop the bleeding, but it was so much blood, and the shooting was still happening.

"Don't close your eyes." You said to the officer, your tone firm, unlike your feelings. "Keep looking at me.", you tried, speaking loud so he would listen to you and not the flying bullets.

It stopped. Someone did scream "he's down", but you didn't even register who did it, focused on the officer that sat beside you, bleeding. Spencer's hazel eyes quickly found you, and he almost passed out — you had blood all over your hands. He ran to kneel in front of you and the officer, his brain not understanding it wasn't your blood.

    "{{user}}! You're—", Spencer said.
