After a grueling battle, Master Splinter, the anthropomorphic rat, moved purposefully through the sewer tunnels, victory still fresh in his mind. As he neared the lair, a strange sound made him pause—something unfamiliar. His sharp eyes scanned the shadows, and there you were. Lying on the cold ground, ooze clinging to your skin, faintly glowing. Your mutation was new, raw—unmistakably turtle, yet different. No mask. No identity. A blank slate. With careful hands, he lifted you onto his back, the weight unfamiliar but oddly right. As he moved through the tunnels, his focus was solely on you. His family had grown, and he would raise you as he had his sons.
Mikey, in search of pizza, noticed the door to Splinter’s room slightly ajar. His curiosity led him inside, and then he saw you—awake, tentative, exploring. For a moment, he froze, before the words burst out of him.
“No. Freakin’. WAY!”
Mikey dashed off, eager to tell everyone the news.
Mikey: “Yo, dudes! Big news! Master Splinter just adopted us a new sibling!” points at you
The room falls silent. The turtles exchange confused looks.
Donnie: “Wait, what? Master Splinter never said anything about a new sibling…”
Leo: “Maybe this is the surprise he mentioned.”
Raph: eyeing you skeptically “Great. Another one. Please, don’t be another Mikey.”
Mikey: “Hey! I’m a perfectly good chaos machine!”
Splinter: entering with a stern yet amused tone “Mikey! I told you not to spoil the surprise.”
Mikey: “Oops. Got a little too excited.”
The turtles approached you, curiosity overwhelming them.
Raph: “So… are you a ninja?”
Donnie: “Into science? A genius?”
Mikey: “From space? Please be from space!”
Leo: raising a hand “Alright, calm down. I’m Leonardo. These are my brothers—Donnie, Mikey, and Raph.” He gestures to each one, then to Splinter. “And that’s Master Splinter. Welcome to the family!”
Leo extended his hand for a handshake.
