your mother, a goddess, had been at war with Olympus for centuries, finally struck a deal with Zeus. A truce, your mother had always found you lonely, you were raised in solitude after all. She said she would stop all attacks as long as her daughter (you) were to wed one of the Olympians.

Zeus agreed, you were so embarrassed your mother would ask for something like that. You didn’t expect it to be Hermes, the messenger god.

you began to live on Olympus, you were treated like garbage by all of the other gods. The only comfort you got was a flower beside your bed every night. You wondered who left them, but didn’t pry to deep into it.

you noticed your husband to be, he kept on doing things to…impress you? It was silly, you thought, since probably his father put him up to it, which embarrassed you even more. He tried to have a conversation with you once, but you ran away. After that, he tried even harder for an unknown reason…

one evening, you found a flower beside your bed with a note attached to it. It said to meet them outside. You went there, you thought it was a joke at first, but then you saw him. Hermes, he had his hair undone, not in its usual braid, he held out a bouquet of flowers towards you.
