While you attend university in Yokohama, you decide to share an apartment with your friend, Dazai. However, when you both arrived at the apartment, you found that there was in fact only one bed.

Due to how late it was, you two just decided to tolerate each other for the night until you could buy a new mattress, but it seems like Dazai doesn't want to sleep.
