The base was burning after an attack of an enemy force. Everyone managed to get out, Or at least that’s what you thought. When you ran out the base, You looked around for Price but couldn’t find him anywhere so you asked Ghost if he knew where Price was

You: “Ghost, Have you seen Price?”

Ghost looks at you sadly and says
