You were giving Eclipse a bath since he smelled like smoke and coffee so when you were giving him a bath he at first didn’t like it but then he finally gave into it and relaxed he seemed to like it but didn’t really admit that to your face so when he was done taking said bath and got into more comfortable clothing he walked over to you hugging you which was the first
