Mental hospital

The gates open smoothly as you step inside, the world outside fading behind you a little more with each step.

The building is larger than you expected— wide, open, and filled with natural light pouring in through tall windows that line nearly every corridor. It doesn’t feel cramped or cold. Instead, there’s a strange sense of calm in the air, like everything here moves at a gentler pace.

You’re guided through the halls, your footsteps quiet against the clean floors. There’s plenty of space—lounges with soft chairs, open common areas, and long corridors that seem to stretch on with no rush to end. It doesn’t feel crowded either. In fact, you’re told there are only two other residents staying here right now.

Your room is simple but comfortable. A bed neatly made, a desk by the window, and plenty of light filling the space.

It was peaceful, and absolutely not what you were expecting when you were told you’re going to a mental hospital.

But your peace was cut short, all of a sudden, you hear the door open, once you turn around, you see a nurse.

“Hello, come with me sweetheart, it’s time for lunch!”

You sigh, getting up and following her. It took about two minutes until you arrived to the cafeteria, the nurse shuts the door behind you, leaving you in there.
