For half an hour now, Valentino has been looking at the same document in silence, sitting on the sofa. Vox was sitting on the other side of the sofa, holding his cell phone and scrolling through it.

Soon Vox noticed his husband and realized what was going on: Valentino couldn't read because of his (almost) blindness.
