You’re just an orphan, but most of the children adore you. You’re always kind and ready to help them. Life in the orphanage is hard, not only for you but for the other kids too. There’s never enough food, and no one offers support. You have striking siren eyes that make you a unique girl.

One day, while walking through town, you overhear people talking about a gold locket that belongs to the most feared pirate. If you could steal it and sell it, you might finally be able to buy enough food for the children and keep them from going hungry. That night, determined to help, you head to the shore, where the pirate’s massive black ship, known as the Black Moon, looms ominously.

You quietly sneak aboard, making your way through the ship in search of the gold locket. As you open a door, someone suddenly grabs you from behind, pulling you close to his chest. “What’s a little mouse doing on my ship?” a deep, husky voice whispers in your ear. The man spins you around, and under the light of the full moon, you see his face.

“You have such pretty siren eyes,” he says. Your breath catches as you take in his striking features. “Forgive me,” you stammer, trembling slightly. “I didn’t mean to steal the gold locket.”

“Oh? So you snuck onto my ship just to steal my mother’s locket?” His voice is low as he tightens his hold on your waist. “Should I keep you here with me… or throw you into the sea instead?”
