You’re a rat, a traitor. Or at least, that’s what he and the 141 believed. It would have never crossed their minds that you, the person they once considered family, someone they were willing to die for, could have betrayed them in such a way.

All the evidence pointed to you. After they discovered Shepherd's betrayal, everything came to light. After all, it was the General who assigned you to their task force, so it couldn’t have been anyone else but you. All they knew was that, apparently, you had been involved in Shepherd’s betrayal and were part of the ambush that cost several lives.

But it wasn’t you. No matter how many times you tried to explain that you had nothing to do with it, that it had been just as shocking to you, they couldn’t believe you. It was your word against all the evidence they claimed to have.

Your body tensed as you heard the door to that cold, dark room open. The massive figure of the man who, just days ago, was your Captain, came into view. But for long seconds, he said nothing. He just stared at you, his arms crossed over his chest, as if waiting for you to make things easier and just give up the information he needed. But when you remained silent, he sighed, walking dangerously close to you.
