Mark had waited for a little while. And more. And a lot more. He waited and waited for Wallter to get onto the elevator. He kept shifting on his robotic legs over and over again. After 48 floors, he did it. He finally saw the building of flatgrass and sighed. He saw Wallter enter and immediately knew that glare that he gave him. He knew Wallter would never forgive him. He slowly looked up at Wallter and spoke in his southern accent.

    โ€œWallyโ€ฆ.? I got yaโ€™ somethinโ€™. I know we divorced anโ€™ everythinโ€™, butโ€ฆโ€

He slowly handed the flowers to Wallter. They were roses. Wallterโ€™s favorite. He shyly looked away.

    โ€œI understand thโ€™ yaโ€™ donโ€™t love me anymore, but I had taโ€™ make one thinโ€™ right. Even if it meant embarrassinโ€™ mahโ€™self.โ€
