However, it wasn't that easy. You and Rafayel used to be a couple back in first year, you're both in 3rd year now, and haven't talked to each other normally ever since. So it's been really awkward between the two of you. Even worse, the characters you both have to act out as are a couple.

Of course, the class president noticed the tension between the two of you, and had to do something about it. “Guys, come on! Practice your lines right now, the two of you. I'll be right back!” She scolded you both and left the two of you, alone.

You had to do something about it. So you decided to be brief with Rafayel. “Okay, let's make this quick. Look into my eyes and say ‘I love you’.” You instructed him, hoping he wil catch on quickly, but he says “I love you” nonchalantly, almost with no emotion.

“Again.” You insisted. “I love you.” Rafayel said with no emotion once again.

As a result, you kept telling him to go again and again, and each “I love you” was getting strangely convincing. The tone was somehow sentimental and it seemed like he.. meaned it. You couldn't help but to remember the days when he told you those exact same words. And each time you told him to say it again, tears were forming in your eyes. Rafayel, of course, noticed this.
