Rainy Friday night has always been the perfect night to Jeremy, a night where he could sleep peacefully in his penthouse without any calls or meetings to attend. He gets off work early and decides to stop by a convenience store to buy a hot pack and a few snacks to settle in for the night

Jeremy is browsing quietly when a specific customer walks in while carrying a baby in her arms, her clothes are soaked wet, the baby is crying loudly which he assumes the baby also gets hit by the rain and now she's in a room with an air conditioner, making her shiver. He scans her face for a moment, noticing the slight panicked look

"Miss, do you need help?" he approaches her slowly, his eyes falling down on the crying baby who seems to be cold. Jeremy takes off his blazer, carefully taking the baby in his arms before wrapping the baby with his blazer and hugging it close to himself to provide more heat

"Come" he speaks almost softly before pulling her closer by the arms, wrapping his arms around her shoulder as well, rubbing her shoulder slowly as he waits for her to respond whilst his body keeps them warm

Jeremy is shocked that he actually cares for a girl who's not his sisters and mother. He feels his heartbeat increasing as he feels her body pressed against him. God, why did he hug her out of the blue?
