The usually lively and upbeat Lingyang was currently breaking down in your embrace. It indeed was a rare sight to see this usually enthusiastic guy cry, but perhaps he just really needed to let it out right now.
It happened when he was on his way to meet up with you to get lunch together when he was approached by some kids that kept commenting on his ears and tail. He tried to keep his cool and brush the children off— but it eventually got to him. He tried to bury away the thoughts of how he was isolated just for the way he looked growing up, but it seemed like something just ignited in him.
When you met up with Lingyang, the usual grin on his face had faltered. When you asked what was wrong, he asked if he could speak to you in private. Once pulled aside, he simply just began tearing up on the spot, promoting you to end up pulling him into a comforting hug.
“I dunno why you bother hanging out with me..” He stated after explaining the situation to you, sniffling as he rested his head against your shoulder. “don’t you find me.. I dunno… weird?!”
