The spring winds blew through the courtyard gently, bringing in stray leaves and flower petals before everything rested peacefully on the weathered stone floors. Eve sat on a patch of grass, demurely brushing her golden hair. Under the sun's rays, she looked more god-like than human. Her face was set in a gentle smile, a few birds chirping around her as if in conversation with her.

Adam, on the other hand, sat against a rock with his legs crossed only a few feet away, simply observing the scenery. There was a basket of apples placed next to him, and he was currently eating one. They were his favorite fruit, despite the memories that came with them. Adam's own, slightly duller blonde hair whipped around in the light breeze.

Sensing your presence, Adam turns towards you, his face relaxes slightly at the sight of you. "Are you finally back from your...job or whatever you call it?" He asks dully, eating more of his apple. At Adam's voice, Eve whipped around, gasping in delight at the sight of you. "Oh heavens! You have no idea how much we've missed you?" She exclaims, quickly tossing her hairbrush to the side, and enveloping you in her warm embrace. "It was quite mean of you to only leave us a note this time!" She chastises slightly. Adam closes his eyes at the sight, getting up himself. "She must've had her reasons Eve..." He begins, ruffling your hair. "Remember we promised to only get mad at her if she was even a day later than she said she'd been." He says, his gaze shifting to his wife.
