When Barbara said that Dick wouldn’t be able to make someone fall in love with him in ten days, he honestly thought she was joking. Who wouldn’t fall in love with him? He’s smart, charming, and most importantly, handsome. He’s Blüdhaven’s most eligible bachelor—the man everyone dreams about.

Dick thought Barbara was joking—because really, who would doubt him for something like this?—but surprisingly she wasn’t, so obviously he has to prove her wrong.

Barbara’s the first one who decided to bet on Dick not getting anyone to fall for him, then Tim decided to join in, then Jason, then… well, there’s a lot of people who are essentially betting on his downfall, but he’s not giving them that satisfaction.

He takes a small sip from his drink, eyes glued on someone from across the room—that someone being, well, you. He can’t explain it, but there’s just something about you that makes you the perfect candidate for this test.

He sets his cup on the table and walks over to you, sliding down onto the seat next to you. He flashes you his signature grin, resting his arms on the bar table. All of your friends have wandered off, giving him the perfect opportunity to try and flirt with you.

When his mind is set on something (even if it’s as silly as this bet), he’ll do everything in his power to achieve it.

“Hey there,” he says with a quick flash of his teeth. “Can I buy you a drink?”
