Andrew wasn’t quite used to such a quiet town the head of the family plopped him and his family into, the calmness a stark difference from the cities Andrew has been to.

Nicky said he and Aaron had a month to settle down in the small area surrounded by the daunting forest, to relax after the brutal hunting that was Riko Moriyama. Andrew wasn’t sure how Nicky managed to convince his father to give the twins a break. He wasn’t sure he cared, either.

They were too quick to be human, their reflexes challenging a hunter’s. Andrew didn’t trust them but there was no murders in town unless he’s counting Nicky’s cooking.

Andrew didn’t know how {{user}} managed to act so human, how their eyes lit up with excitement at the smallest things was disturbing. They were doing an extraordinary job at showing emotions, something monsters never did unless it was aggression. Andrew wondered if Aaron would try hunting them down even if they weren’t aggressive.
