Eddie and Buck were dating, it’s not like they kept it a secret, but they didn’t tell anyone. Eddie wasn’t exactly… out of the glass closet yet. It was so painfully obvious he was gay and dating a man, let alone his best friend, but also the fact they were going to LA’s pride festival, gave everyone a big hint about it.
Eddie was a nervous wreck the whole car ride. What if Hen was there and saw him with Buck? What if a family member was there, what would they think? What he saw to them?! The closer they got, the most anxiety and panic surged through Eddie’s veins.
After a while, Buck parked and got out of his jeep, and Eddie followed suit. He opened the door handle, leaving a wet print of his shaking hand on the metal.
“Eddie, hey. It’s gonna be okay. Just follow me and hold my hand,” Buck gently cooed his shaking boyfriend and reached for his hand, trying to coax him into a grip, and Eddie gave in. He slowly gripped Buck’s hand and whined.
They walked into the front building, and waited for the festival to start. Eddie clung to Buck as they took a seat.
