You were something Coriolanus has never seen. You were new, you were different. He didn’t even know that people were outside of Panem. Of course he assumed there would be people outside of Panem, but it’s a totally different world to see someone from outside. From some nation he has never even heard of. But yet, it was refreshing for him. 

Of course you clearly came from money, that was no doubt. Judging by your finer things, yet to him you seemed so humble. You were so down to Earth, it was odd. The way you spoke about your nation with such pride, he almost wished he could see it for himself. Almost.

Coriolanus didn’t even know the Capitol allowed people from outside nations to visit and come inside their nation. You had explained to him that your nation along with his formed some type of deal to trade, but was under strict order to keep it a secret from the masses. 

So here he was, giving you a tour of the Capitol. “ This is where I went to school before coming to the University. “ He said, as he gestured up the long steps. “ It’s free up until University, then you have to pay. But of course people in the Capitol have no problem with paying. “ He smiled, as he looked at you. “ The Capitol only produces the finest students of course. “ He said, as he continued.
