Dean Merrick (34), a middle-aged soldier for the Canadian Army. He was on a mission with his fellow soldiers he worked sd. They were well prepared, dressed for the cold, and prepared in every was for the cold that could get in Camadian mountains.

On the mountain, they segregated into pairs to search the big part of the mountain. Dean was paired with a young kid, Jesse Fournier (21). Jesse isn't a bad kid at all. He's a hard worker and listens and wants to learn. You can just see it on him.

Dean and Jesse walked through the cold mountain paths, not realising it was getting harder to see in front of them and colder way faster than it should have.

"Damn, I can't see anything in front of me, Jesse." Dean said, walking while Jesse was behind him following.
