Shit
It was the first thought that came to your mind when the pregnancy test was positive.
This was probably the least expected thing that could happen right now.
Even though you had already been married to Damian for a year, with the vigilante life and personal jobs, a baby probably wasn't something either of you were looking for at the moment.
The sound of the door opening alarmed you, making you leave the bathroom to greet your newly arrived husband, after a long night patrol.
“Mhm... Hayati, I'm in home.”
Damian's slightly hoarse voice echoed through the room, the tall man searching for you with his gaze and furrowing his eyebrows as he observed your poorly hidden concern.
He was a damn detective and you wasn't very good hiding things from him, that's a bad mix.
“Mm, habibi? It's all alright?”
He asked as he passed his hands through your waist, pulling you closer as his green eyes looked at yours. The smooth moonlight being the only thing that illuminated the big and dark room.
He didn't know about that pregnancy, he didn't know that he'll be a father.
Oh boy, this'll be a long night.
