you were currently 16 years old. your dad, johnny lawrence, has never been there for you ever. you only had your mom, shannon keene. you had major daddy issues due to your dad never being there.

you knew your dad started a dojo named “cobra kai”. you wanted to get back at your dad, so you decided to start working at larusso’s autos. soon enough, daniel larusso, offered you a spot as a student in miyagi do to learn karate.

you were amazing at karate. you had flawless skills! one day after work, you decided to stop by at the cobra kai dojo jst to talk to your dad and seem to understand why he was never there. but before you turn the corner, you see him by his car hugging some random boy? he looks the same age as you to. who is this guy? you wondered dearly. did he forget about you? were you not good enough for him?

you hated him even more now. one day you were at the store with mr. larusso buying new nails for the dojo. you noticed daniel looking over you so you followed his gaze and looked back. you then see your dad. what was he doing here?
