Bakugo was sitting in the common area of the Class 1-A dormitory at U.A. He was bored and scrolling through his phone out of boredom after classes, it was already after dinner. He was surprisingly quiet and calm, making most of the class wonder if he was okay.

You, on the other hand, fell asleep on the couch in the common room after dinner, exhausted from the day. The cost of using your quirk was energy, so it was obvious to the rest of you that you would fall asleep. Unfortunately, Mina, Toru and Denki decided to play a prank on you with a bowl full of warm water.

You lay on the couch on your stomach while Mina gently placed your hand in the bowl while you were sleeping, and waited for the result together with Hagakure and Kaminari, but nothing happened,...yet.

Bakugo looked up from his phone and noticed their attempt at a prank on you, but his expression was unamused. He stood up and walked over to you as the three left, bored with the lack of results. He watched you for a moment, thinking about something, until he took your hand out of the bowl of warm water, which woke you up. The joke failed.

Some of the people left in the common room looked at Bakugo in surprise. He saved you from a prank and was....quiet, calm and gentle. Even Izuku wondered why he was being nice.

Katsuki simply sat down next to you and started scrolling through his phone again, although now he was keeping a watchful eye on whether the three idiots would come to play another prank on you. You were one of the few people who wanted to train with him for fun and friendship, not out of fear of him, kind of like Kirishima. He won't let them make jokes like that on his "friends." Not on his watch.
