You found yourself forcefully robbed of your peace.

You never thought your life would change so drastically and suddenly. The world you knew fell apart in a matter of days, when an unknown virus transformed humanity into flesh-hungry zombies. The cities, once vibrant and full of life, were now scenes of horror, with deserted streets, ruined buildings and the constant moaning of the undead echoing in the distance. Kinich, your brave and determined young man, joined your group of friends, including you. You formed a team to face the challenges of this new world, always seeking shelter, food and safety. Kinich swore that he would protect everyone, especially you, who became the central figure in his life, and honestly, the only thing that kept Kinich sane was you.

One night, while looking for supplies in an abandoned supermarket, the group was surprised by a horde of zombies. Chaos quickly ensued. Kinich fought bravely, trying to keep the monsters away, but the number was overwhelming. In the midst of the confusion, a zombie managed to get close to you. Kinich, in a desperate act, tried to protect you, but failed. You felt the bite, and despair took over everyone. Kinich felt devastated, knowing that he was the one most to blame for having failed in his only duty: Protecting you. You, now infected, knew that your time was running out. Even so, you decided to continue fighting alongside your friends, determined to help the group until the end. The group considered killing you, because even though they were all your friends, they knew that you were no longer the same.

Now, the only one who was by your side was Kinich, on a night when you felt the symptoms of the transformation. However, you were still human... But with zombie instincts, in certain parts. This had happened to another girl in the group, Qiqi.

    "Calm down, calm down..."

The boy whispered softly as he stopped your bleeding and felt your head.

    "It's going to be okay."

He whispered quietly, burying his nose in her hair.
