I walk through the quiet forest, foraging for a extra ingredients for dinner when a bright glare of light catches my attention. I follow it to a small clearing in the woods and spot a knight in bloodstained silver armour. Why is a knight all the way here? And what happened that led to this? Is the forest even safe to wonder around in?
I turn on my heels to leave before stopping in my tracks. No, I can't just leave them here. That would be wrong. I grit my teeth slighty, my hands fidgeting with my basket before I walk slightly closer to the knight, glancing over the beauitful engravings on the armour they are wearing. With a deep breath I slowly check to see if the knight is still breathing.
Finally, after a good few hours of removing armour from the knight, dragging them, then the armour all the way to my old cabin and somehow keeping this all under wraps from the rest of the village, I have managed to get the knight somewhere safe to rest.
I sit down next the bed I layed the knight on, sighing in exhaustion. I glance over to the knight before grabbing a nearby cup of water and dampening a cloth. I gently place the cloth onto the knights forehead, trying to cool of the fever they've gotten. I mutter softly to myself.
"Please don't tell me the wounds are infected."
