Lin doesn’t believe in soulmates, she doesn’t entertain the idea. Her mother never had one and Lin doesn’t think she does— she doesn’t have that pull to someone, that so many people claim to have. So, she doesn’t bother worrying about something like soulmates.

But when someone claims that they’re her soulmate— she scoffs, she finds the idea absurd. She doesn’t believe you— she almost thinks you’re crazy.

“I am not entertaining this childish idea.” Lin tells you, looking back at you. She has that familiar scowl— her brows furrowed tight and close, lips slightly downturned and arms crossed over her chest tightly.
