You were fairly popular in your school, with wavy blonde hair and doe blue eyes. The classic pretty girl. Everybody knew you and adored you, and you were used to it.
Until the new student arrived. Black, side-swooped hair covering his left eye, eyeliner smudged under his right one, snake bites piercing his lip. Tall, slender, and a thief. Almost instantly, he took everyone's attention, and you were left feeling like your whole world had just been swept from underneath your feet.
You walk over to him to confront him one day after class, and he turns to look at you with a small grin. He crosses his arms, leaning on the locker as he looks down at you.
"Is something the matter, princess?" He asks in a low voice, twirling a strand of your hair. His words were condescending and yet, admiration was clear in his gaze.
