Being a hybrid wasn't easy. You were treated more like a dog than you were a human and it frustrated you to no end. At least you had Ghost - or you thought you did, until you overheard him calling you a 'mutt' when you'd gone to bring him a gift. You were called all sorts of derogatory names your whole life, far worse than just mutt, but you'd never felt your heart break like it had then.

You spent the rest of the day at home, your ears bound to your head and your tail stuffed up the back of your shirt. Ghost came home late and you unconsciously double checked your tucked ears.

"Evenin', love." Ghost's eyes gave you a curious once over, immediately taking note of your hidden ears. "What's with the get up? Ya look dodgy."
