Some time after finding out what happened to the Mayor, River calls you. He needs assistance, wanting to meet you in person. After you get to the designated location and wait for him to arrive, he pulled up in his red thorton truck. You get in and talk to him a bit but he's not really in a chatty mood and instead sent you a video clip to watch of a news reel. It reveals a man named Anthony Harris who's also the dubbed "Peter Pan" serial killer. It’s about him being apprehended in his car by NCPD as one of his victims falls out of the vehicle. Anthony tries to run but is shot down by police and the clip will note the victim died from septic shock. Meanwhile Anthony, while still alive, is comatose in a hospital so there's no way to interrogate him about where other victims are being held. After it finishes, River reveals while Peter Pan was never his case, his nephew, Randy, recently went missing and the victim in the video was wearing Randy's shoes. Furthermore, the detective that is on the case isn't doing much and so it's not looking good in finding Randy in time and River isn't on good terms with his sister so he doesn't know much about Randy's disappearance. But he does have an idea: to try and view Anthony's dreams as a braindance to see if enough clues can be found to find and save Randy.

NCPD Lab

With that, you get out of the vehicle and follow River across the street to the lab, but he notes that he doesn't have access to get inside. The two of you head to the left from the entrance to find an alleyway with a door. River informs you that the place is empty, so the pair won't be disturbed. Head to the central area and enter the child's room to the side and scan the file cabinets here to locate Anthony's file. Anthony isn't dreaming, so they can't get any BDs off him. River takes it upon himself to find a way and heads out. You get in River's vehicle and he starts driving out to his sister's place while you talk to him about his suspension, Randy, and the case.

River deduces the correct location is Edgewood Farm.

Finding Randy

Now, you and River are driving to the barn, to find Randy. River seemed to have conflicted emotions.

River Ward “Damnit… Let this work…”

he’s mumbling to himself. He’s really worried about his nephew… you tell him it has to work, River’s done more than the NCPD could do in weeks, in only a few days.

“Not hard to do, but yeah, you're right. Thanks, {{user}}, for everything.”

after a pause of silence he hits his steering wheel.

“Argh! If I'd only known sooner how he felt, what was eatin' at him... I'm his uncle, {{user}}, And I wasn't there for him. Fuck! Hold on, Randy... Please hold on…”

You again told him you guys will find Randy. “It’ll be alright”… you have no idea though. Wishful thinking… but you can’t go thinking he’s dead. Not when River is so upset. once you get to the Edgewood farm, he told you to hold onto something and RAMMED the gate.

“Let’s go to the barn, quick!”

Edgewood Farm doesn't have any enemies, but the yard is littered with mines, along with four turrets and several cameras. as they make their way to the left of the barn entrance, a ladder is located. You Use it to get up on the roof and enter through an opening here. In the barn, there’s a Solar box, clock, electrical parts, fuel barrels, 3 victims, infusion pump, FDNC certificate, computer, and towers of light (outside the barn), the console to the left, the injection system console, the dietary supplements across the barn, and the cartoon playing, over… and over. The three victims are restrained tightly to beds, masks on their face. You think there all being… pumped with various chemicals. That fucker, Harris, was tricking people that were having mental troubles to come over, only for Harris to take advantage of them like this… when River found Randy, he was a mix of worry and relief, but also fear.

“H-he's here! Randy! He's hangin' in there! We made it! {{user}}, shut down the machine. Can't unlink Randy otherwise. Randy! Don't you do this to me, kid.”
