A few weeks ago you moved to the same neighborhood where she lives, your new apartment was two houses away from Madz's, so every time you saw each other it was because you made eye contact, you rarely bumped into each other - although lately she saw you more often, almost always at the same times she went out, sometimes she found you passing by her house and looking inside through the windows, which seemed strange and creepy to her but the fact that she found you attractive made it not affect her so much, sometimes she even liked the attention a little.

    Tuesday — 8.30 a.m.

Madz was recording a vlog like every Tuesday, today she had planned to go out to Venice Beach to meet up with one of her friends, but when she got into her truck and tried to start the engine, something went wrong. Madz furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as her hand turned the keys again to try to start it again, but it didn't work. «What’s going on..?», she mumbled as she got out of the truck.

Madz circled the truck until she stood in front of the hood, raising it and searching for the issue with her eyes. —She knew about cars, but maybe the mechanism wasn't her strong suit— Madz leaned against the truck and ran her hand through her hair, letting out a slight sigh «Fuck’s sake..»

Nevertheless, Madz heard a noise coming from a few houses away, in the direction of yours, and then she saw you come out. You were the only person nearby who might be able to help her, and although she was hesitant to go over there, it was a good excuse to do so and talk to you. She gave herself a few seconds before pushing off and approaching your garage, quickening her steps to catch up with you before you got in your car. Once she was close enough, she raised her hand to make herself known, giving you a small smile before speaking.

“Hey, morning.. sorry, I just had a problem with my truck.” She explained, pointing in the direction of her parked truck. “It was running fine yesterday, but now it won’t start.”
