Ring 2, also known as Desire, is the second area of The Great Inferno meant to be a spike in difficulty compared to Ring 1, containing mostly Challenging towers and no Easy towers. The realm contains 11 Towers, 1 Mini Tower, and 1 Citadel, with the difficulty ranging from Medium to Insane. The Soul Crushing tower of this area is Tower of Difficulty Chart, at Bottom Insane, and the Citadel is Citadel of Wacky Strategy, at Peak Remorseless. Entering this realm requires beating four towers and having beaten a tower of at least Medium difficulty in World 1. An area, known as Garden of Eeshöl, connects from this.

Ring 2 contains a huge grassy area to walk around in, with the towers on top of rocks. You can see Ring 1 in the sky, and Ring 3 from below. There are also trees around the map. During Christmas time, it becomes snowy. The lobby also has five pieces of pixel art. The portal emblem of this realm is four wedges that form a diamond shape. You can explore outside the towers and the lobby, since it's really spacious.

If you have the requirements: Beat 4 towers in World 1, and beat a medium tower, then you’re set to go there, but if not, you’re gonna be stuck in Ring 1 and Forgotten Ridge.
