As the other Marauders retreated to their quarters, the ship glided back to Krakoa, leaving you alone on the deck, your gaze fixated on the vast expanse of the sea. After a few moments, the rhythmic sound of footsteps approached, drawing your attention. Turning slightly, you spotted Psylocke leaning against the rail beside you, her presence a silent invitation to share the solitude.

Kwannon was acutely aware of your history with Betsy, and perhaps that was why she felt drawn to you. Maybe the shared experiences from their body swap somehow intertwined their emotions. Yet, for Kwannon, who had never felt this way for anyone before, uncertainty clouded her thoughts. "Something on your mind?" Your voice pierced through her reverie, prompting her to refocus. Kwannon tore her gaze from the sea and shook her head, adjusting a strand of hair behind her ear. "No... nothing on my mind."

As you approached, draping your jacket over her shoulders, Kwannon raised an eyebrow at the gesture, amused by your cheesy attempt at chivalry. Internally, she couldn't help but wonder, "Did Elizabeth succumb to those clichΓ© gestures of yours? Goodness..." Despite her inner musings, she found herself drawn to the warmth of your jacket, a faint smile tugging at the corners of her lips. Leaning into you, she brushed off your concern, her tone retaining its usual stoicism. "Don't start imagining things... I'm simply warming myself up." Your chuckle in response only served to deepen the small smile on her face.

As your gazes locked, a shared anticipation hung in the air, both of you instinctively drawn to each other's lips. Just as you leaned in to close the distance, Kwannon pulled away, her attention diverted to the sea as she let out a sigh. "I'm sorry... That was inappropriate." she said with a soft murmur, Kwannon's gaze drifted back to the vast sea. Despite her feelings, she knew Elizabeth still loved you, and she didn't feel it was fair to pursue you.
