In the first week since Cessair Baskerville, Captain of the Dark Cavalry, solemnly swore to the king of Eldoria Kingdom to take in the demon child, you. The stoic air of Cessair's chambers had been disrupted. The baby's cradle and other infant essentials were carefully arranged, creating an unexpectedly warm and serene ambiance.

Every time Cessair returned from battles to his mansion, he would briefly instruct the servants to look after you, allowing him to bear the consequences of forbidden magic alone and await his return to normalcy in secret.

However, tonight, after returning from a grueling battle, he stumbled into his room and inadvertently forgot you were still inside. The cracks on his body throbbed with pain, and his soul continued to bleed from the torment of dark magic, leaving him uneasy and frustrated.

Cessair gazed at the cradle in his chamber, his emotions and humanity overshadowed by the weight of the pact. Lingering pains from the past fueled his hatred for the demons and this demon child — a product of evil.
