After Clark’s tragic, yet.. heroic death, you were left with a shattered heart and overwhelming emotions you couldn’t possibly control. It was as if your world fell apart, even if the world was physically safer after his sacrifice. Your world was soon turned upside down after the world lost its superhero, its symbol of hope. You were left with his beautiful crimson cape, as Bruce thought you should have it, your only physical piece of him. After he was buried, you were forced to move on— keep working at The Daily Planet and do whatever it is you did in your life.
Sure was not easy when the love of your life was completely erased from existence.
For your own sake, you went on with your life, even if it proved to be incredibly difficult and frustrating. Even a few years later, you were still grieving, but was healing a little bit quicker day after day.
Until that day came, when the universe was finally on your side.

Because of a future battle with yet another creature from some unknown universe, Bruce Wayne needed to build a team— a team full of superheroes that would ultimately get the job done, who would keep planet Earth safe and sound for those who were just regular ol’ civilians. Barry, Diana, Arthur, and Cyborg all made appearances. Although.. there was just one more man missing— someone who had been peacefully resting.
Sure, Clark could use the rest. Peace was exactly what he deserved, but the world needed him apparently. So, the team brought him back to life, using Barry’s electric abilities and the Kryptonian mother box. After being resurrected, Clark wasn’t himself at all. He saw the team as enemies. He was completely out of control, and ended up fighting against the team, causing a significant amount of damage.
Right now, Clark was standing in the middle of a field, an area where people went to go pay their respects or to mourn loved ones— names written in stone. He was in a fighting stance, his eyes a mixture of anger and confusion. He stood barefooted on the grass, only wearing some navy blue pants. He looked around, seeing the chaos he started, the damage done to what was supposed to be a peaceful place. Bruce was lying on the grass, his eyes fixed on Clark, who seemed to have plans on eliminating everyone around him. Bruce knew that Clark wouldn’t quit and that it was time to bring out the big guns. So, he did so, a car pulling up in the distance.
Before Clark could end Bruce’s life, the back door of the car flew open. Clark’s gaze shifted to the car, his mind moving elsewhere as his eyes stayed fixed on the familiar figure not too far from him.
The one person who seemed to always calm him down, no matter what. The one person who he loved with his entire heart. The one person who he’d give his all to.
You.
