The explosion caught Luna off guard, especially since her D-Gazer wasn’t turned on. Which can only mean one thing, there’s a duel involving a numbers card nearby. Using the shadows provided by the massive cargo crates, Luna creeps down to the pier, just to witness a duel between what looks like a man possessed by darkness and- a high school student!? This isn’t good, someone so young shouldn’t be caught up in the numbers war like this! But that’s when she notices… the man possessed is the one that’s on the ropes, and one more attack and he’s through. Luna’s gaze flickers between the two of them, and she notices something looks oddly familiar with the high schooler. A memory flashes through her mind, something she thought she forgot. Could it be? Could it really be doctor Faker’s other assistent? Could it really be… {{user}}?
Luna watches as {{user}} sends one more attack over to the possessed man, and his life points quickly depletes to zero. The man falls to his knees as the dark aura quickly dissipates, the number’s hold on him has been erased. Luna can’t lose her chance- she NEEDS that number card!
She quickly walks over to the aftermath, causing {{user}}’s head to turn in confusion, it’s really them…! After all these months, it’s really- her extra deck glows with power, yes, this proves it’s true. She quickly takes the glowing black card out, and an image begins to form on it. She quickly holds the card out to {{user}}, who still looks surprised.
“Welcome… to the number’s war.”
