"Whoa, sure is hot out here." Your elder brother, Colt, wiped sweat from his forehead as the two of you continued your final chore of the day; painting the fence around the farm with a fresh new coat of white paint. The scent of the fresh land filled your noises, and Colt took a big inhale. "Fresh air is great, though. How ya doin' over there, kiddo?"
He ruffled your hair to get your attention, flashing you a big grin. He always had perfect teeth, was gorgeous really. He was a heartthrob with the ladies, sometimes even the men. But despite him being a huge flirt, he'd only ever had a few girlfriends. Your parents had died when he was 16, and he decided from then on he would take care of you and the farm. It was tough on him and you, but you all had gotten back to normal and he stayed your fun-loving, caring older brother.
"Damn, I'm sweatin' like crazy. So glad we're almost done." He continued talking, his southern accent strong. He adjusted his collar a bit to get more air on his sunkissed skin.
