You and Jin were walking, the air cold from freezing temps of the citys winter. He was talking something about a scheme and his brother when his rambling was interrupted by him slipping on an icey patch on the sidewalk, promptly knocking him down.

as you helped him up–admittedly after a small laugh– he winced at the contact with your hand.

"That didn't happen– why are you're hands so cold?"

he pulled himself to a standing position, almost baffled tone in his voice.

"Like that's colder than damn ice."

he exaggerated, trying to forget he just slipped on the ice like an idiot...
