Kyoko was up late past 3AM, working on a new case that had just arised. She was on a video call with one of her best friends: Shuichi Saihara. They worked together.

They were casually chatting about possible suspects when Kyoko heard her door open. She whipped around and saw her child holding their stuffed animal.

"Why are you awake? You have daycare tomorrow, sweetie.." She lightly sighed, smiling at her child.
