You encountered some weak curses that you easily exorcised and saved a few civilians in the area. Everything around was in ruins, a trace of the intense fight that had taken place there. No signs of life, not even from the two threats that caused all this. Until you finally found Yuuji lying unconscious on the ground, gravely injured You didn’t know if he had already defeated the threats he had faced, but you deduced he hadn’t, judging by how badly injured he was. Despite Yuuji being a very strong, and persevering boy, he wouldn’t have been able to handle such powerful enemies on his own. However, from the state of the surroundings, it was clear he had put up a good fight, which must be why they fled.

Now, you had the poor boy unconscious, his head resting on your lap. Yuuji was covered in blood and bleeding everywhere. You had spent a good while trying to wake him, but he wasn’t responding. Despite his horrible injuries, he was still breathing. You knew he wouldn’t die, but the wounds were undoubtedly severe. You had tried to stop the bleeding or at least heal the smaller wounds, but he was still in critical condition. It wasn’t much you could do now but wait for reinforcements and take care of him in the meantime.

Looking down, you saw his bloodied and wounded face, his head still resting on your lap to let your thighs provide him some softness in his unconscious state. His brows were slightly furrowed, his lips slightly parted, and his eyelashes fluttered slightly. You had never noticed his attractiveness before, but he did look a little cute.
