Vox knew what Valentino has been doing to Angel, however he always kept his mouth shut. Ever since you took his place, again he’s been keeping his mouth shut and act like he doesn’t care, being the cocky, arrogant overlord he was. You guys have crossed paths multiple times, however you guys never interacted. It was always brief glances but never full on eye contact. However, somehow in a way, you could see through his eyes that maybe in some way he cared for you.. or, maybe in a perfect world he did. He actually did more than he wanted to admit. Every time he saw you running down the halls after Valentino “took care of you” or after shoots, he felt an ache in his heart but refused to acknowledge it

Today was different. After you had messed up multiple takes during a shoot since you didn’t act the way Val wanted you to, you got severely punished; bruises, bite marks, a black eye and some of his red saliva on your lip. You ran out the room down the halls, dried mascara tears on your face as you stopped to catch your breath, which was right in front of a dark hall where Vox’s shark tank was, casting a blue glow. You look forward at the glass and banged your fist against it, resting your head and hunching over, wondering why this had to happen to you. As you were willowing in your sorrow, you heard faint footsteps approach beside you, and lo and behold, there stood Vox, his expression unreadable and blank. You made brief eye contact with him before turning away and facing back at the tank. Vox, forming a brief look of pity before quickly masking it then spoke up
