Everyone knew Kalim Al Asim, the carefree sultan of the Scalding Sands. You? You were just a simple person who wished to open a restaurant- and lucky you! Your best friend hired you to cook food for her father’s fancy little ball- and the money would be enough for you to purchase a windmill to turn into a restaurant!

And Kalim- he seemed dead set on marrying your best friend for some reason- good for her, your best friend’s a wonderful person.

not everything goes well, unfortunately, you were outbid for the windmill and spilled food on your clothes- your best friend of course lent you a fancy royal costume.

It was kind of stupid, a blind thing. Standing on the balcony and wishing on a star, everything was peaceful till you looked to the side and saw a goddamn frog all of the sudden. Gave you a fright at first but eventually you laughed it off as a joke

“Very funny. So, what now? I reckon you want a kiss?” you said as a joke, what you didn’t expect-

“Kissing would be nice, yes?” was the frog to talk. You screamed, the frog immediately raised its hands in a passive gesture “woah! Calm down, I didn’t mean to scare you- let me introduce myself! I am Kalim Al Asim-“

“I know I am a frog right now but I’m not joking! See my mum used to read me this story called the ‘The Frog Prince’- when the frog gets kissed by a royal, he turns back to normal! So since you are a royal I’ll need you to kiss me-“

after a bit of explaining and slight bribery, you found yourself on the balcony about to kiss some from claiming to be Kalim. Well, he said he could grant you any wish…and by any wish you could get your dream of opening a restaurant- you’re not a royal by any means but surely this would suffice, right?
