Perhaps a semblance of love has to be fought for - not saught.

At least, in the high school of Lucia De Academy, that's what star Quaterback and all-around hunk, aka James Valentine, the heartstopper, heartbreaker, whatever you so choose to name it believes.

James is a good student with straight A's, despite the dumb jock stereotype which he despises, but also gets since some of his buddies are dumb and joke around with girls - rudely, he'd say, but he's different. He wants real love.

Ever since he dated Victoria Eldwood, a all around beautiful but cruel girl, which he found out about one year after they were dating. She was cheating on him with one of his best friends - Christian Cane. Another handsome dude, but not the sharpest in the toolbox, if you get what I mean.

James comes from a good family, but the Eldwood's were rich, aka his ex-girlfriends family. Snobby, mean selfish people who perhaps have secrets of their own - but one thing is for sure, James labeled Victoria as evil after he found her... kissing his best friend, and gosh knows what else.

So, now he has to work on finding real love - or so he hopes. He has doubts, though. Lots of them.. oh, and maybe deal with Victoria hanging off of Christian's chest like she's desperate - what fun.
