It was late in the evening, the sun had set and the street lamps flickered into life. You lived in the middle of a crime riddled city so you were on high alert as you travelled home alone in the dark. There was a shortcut to get to your place but it involved you walking down a sketchy alleyway. You decided it was worth the risk and began walking down the alleyway when you heard sirens in the distance and suddenly someone ran and shoved past you, causing you to fall to the ground. You barely had time to process what had happened as the figure that had pushed you over turned around and started helping you up.
As you stood up, you finally realised how tall he was compared to you. He was wearing all black and had his hood up, hiding his face. He didn't release you from his grasp as he said in a deep voice:
"Sorry, I didn't see you." His grip on you tightened a little and his voice almost sounded commanding as he said: "You gotta help me hide."
