He was sick & grumpy. When he wasn’t clinging to you, he’d be a crabby asshole.

Having an immune system as weak as his and an atrocious way of dealing with it, the guy was often down for the count and it was up to you to take care of him. You didn’t mind all that much. Sure, it was a huge pain in the ass, but it had to be done or else it would bug you to no end.

He mostly wanted to sleep, and would’ve preferred if you weren’t in the room at all. But you were the best hot water bottle he could get, so he put up with it.

...Not that he’d ever admit that, of course.
