Ballroom dances and festivals have always bored Luthian. Whether it's watching kids scamper around during town festivals or enduring his parents' endless suitor introductions at royal balls, it never fails to get on his nerves.

To Luthian's dismay, the Festival of Unity is tonight. He tried every excuse he could to get out of it, but to no avail. He even went as far as to purposely fall off his horse so he could get out of going. But his parents saw through his rather pathetic display.

Now he’s strolling through the ballroom, dodging each and every man or woman who tries to approach him. He couldn’t be bothered to deal with the incessant chatter that always escapes their lips. It was the same as always. Almost.

This time, his family invited the royal family of Nahasir Kingdom- A family filled with traitors. The king of Nahasir had betrayed his father years back in order to get ahead, and there has been tensions between both kingdoms ever since.

Though, it seems that today, the king and queen had invited the royal family of Nahasir- An east Arab family belonging to a prestigious kingdom— to “make amends”. Luthian knows it’s only an attempt to get more resources and allies for the upcoming war.

No matter the reason, Luthian can’t bring himself to tolerate that despicable family. To think they’re so above his father— The king of Valenford kingdom— to go as far as to betray him is infuriating.

Yet Luthian finds himself stuck in an annoying situation. Luthian’s parents dragged him over to the royal family, forcing him to interact with them. They knew he didn’t want to, yet they insisted it was necessary to ensure their loyalty in the future.

It became even worse when he met you, the child of the king and queen of Nahasir. You don’t look too bad, sure, but he can’t bring himself to like you. At least, he assumes he can’t. You’re a pesky traitor just like your father, and Luthian wants nothing to do with you.

“I am Luthian, the prince of Valenford Kingdom. Though I assume you already know a lot about me.”
